Ryan ‘Buck’ Shapiro, founding partner of Shapiro & Dunn law firm, is a third generation Austonian with over 12 years of commercial and residential real estate legal experience. He represents clients’ interests in commercial lending, SBA lending, real estate purchases and sales, property leasing, entity formation, landlord/tenant actions and various commercial and business related matters. Buck received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and is admitted to the State Bar of Texas. Buck is a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, the Texas Association of Bank Counsel, Texas Land Title Association and American Land Title Association.

Documentation of transactions including contracts, deeds, conveyances, easements, rights of way, releases, restrictions, condominiums, transfers, liens, assumptions, wrap around sales, profits interests, mortgages, and other forms of agreements.  Contract review including title, survey, entitlement and other property specific matters.
  • Lending: Commercial, residential, construction, development, warehouse, mortgage, institutional, private and other financing alternatives as well as various lending operational matters. Real estate, commercial, securities, asset based, warehouse lines, guidance lines, receivables financing.  Small Business Administration documentation for both 7a and 504 loan programs.
  • Other: Various other areas of practice including collection actions, landlord/tenant actions, and various commercial and business related matters.
  • Approved closing and document preparation attorney for various financial institutions (including national, regional and community banks).
